Thunder Bay Sprints Regatta

Our annual Thunder Bay Sprints Regatta on Saturday, June 29, 2024 was the 60th anniversary of our hosting this event.

Thunder Bay Sprints marks the start of the competitive season for local rowers. Competitors at Thunder Bay Sprints Regatta are generally from member clubs of the North Western International Rowing Association (NWIRA), including Kenora RC, Long Lake RC, Minnesota Boat Club, Duluth RC, and Minneapolis RC. Junior, Open and Masters rowers compete from early morning to mid-afternoon.
