Girls Come Try Rowing Day - Sunday, May 26, 2024

Join us 9:00 am - 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 26, 2024 for a Come Try Rowing event for girls at Thunder Bay Rowing Club.

This event will be led by an all female team of coaches and volunteers. Participants will be taught the basics of the rowing stroke on indoor rowing machines, will review the equipment used and safety guidelines before getting out on the water in a variety of rowing shells. Coaches will be in safety boats on the water and all shells will be guided by experienced rowers. All participants must know how to swim, or wear a lifejacket.
