Basic introduction to rowing - geared to university students but everyone is welcome
Come learn the basics of rowing in three introductory sessions, Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday morning
Who can participate: Geared to university students but anyone age 11 – 60 may register as long as they are able to swim.
When: approximately 7 hours of instruction over 3 consecutive days:
6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, September 8th, 2023
10:00 am - 12:30 pm Saturday, September 9th, 2023
10:00 am - 12:30 pm Sunday, September 9th, 2023
Cost: $100.00
Registration: Registration is a two step process:
Step 1: Register with Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) for Thunder Bay Rowing Club’s fall Learn-to-Row Program
Step 2: Complete the Thunder Bay Rowing Club’s registration form

Join us for National Come Try Rowing day on Saturday, June 26th
In conjunction with RCA and Provincial Rowing Associations, clubs across Canada are hosting fun and safe introductory rowing sessions. Thunder Bay Rowing Club (TBRC) will be hosting sessions on Saturday, June 26th. Two-hour sessions will be held through the morning until the early afternoon. Covid-19 protocols will be in place for everyone's safety.
